boat ride on Rothmans @ 9:14 PM
yeah! i went on my mum's company's boat for a ride todae, juz as i had last yr, but this time wif Amandus' family, coz last yr my dad's side, like XM and ZY went le. damn shiok sia! this time, i brought my Kylie Mynogue cd along for more entertainment... or for the aphrodisiac effect? XD
Anywayz, this time, since i knew the boat oredy, i went straight for my fav spots, the front of the boat and the top deck. damn shuang. damn romantic if u have a gf (or bf, for a ger) on the top deck. no one can see wat u doing. LOL. juz dun make noise or too much of a vibration. the boat is sensitive ya noe.

ya noe, if ppl are wondering wat the heck we're doing out at sea 1 day after the 9.1 richter scale earthquake, i advise u to study ur history and geography in a more detailed fashion. I shall not bother to explain further as i've explained it 10 times.

when we reached Pulau Hantu, the speedboat was waitin for us liao. by the time we got there, i was all suntanned. YAHOO!!! lol.

Imagine: 0-70kmph in smething like 6sec. on water. no cover. u juz gelled ur hair. u go for a 15min spin in that machine. seriously imagine ur hairstyle. wah liao. shiok sia! i shd invent that new kind of hairstyle. pay $15. go for $15min ride. use ur own gel. wah liao. i'll become billionaire sia! lol.

dun wish to tok anymore. as i'm typing, my world is bobbling up and down around me. Kaoz...

back! @ 8:10 PM
phew! back from 1wk of chalet, 3days of AQ camp, 1 day of SGB and 1 day of shopping. its been damn fun! chalet was cool. BBQ. learnt how to set up a fire properly, and a gd one too. i've also become quite pro at grilling prawns, chicken and shishamo (jap pregnant fish). drank a little of beer too. i taught my aunt, uncle and Amandus how to play bridge, and guess wat, we turned it into the "chee beh" game. thanx to my uncle who was feeling sleepy and wanted to bid for spades. he said "1 chee beh"... wah liao! darn farnie. den for the next 2hrs, we were making jokes outta it and even bidded for spades even though unnecessary! AQ camp was quite ok... except my cramping up of thigh during the load jog. i kept warning Keanyung dat i'd cramp. i realli did. struggled thru the 2.5km and set out during the 1.6km jog. bo bian. by the end of the camp, all my muscles were aching. some still are. SGB... lol. first job, go suntec and orchard to carry stuff and play Midtown Madness board game LIVE at Wisma. 2nd job: go Potong Pasir to unload stuff. come back on the back of the lorry with drinks and Yum seng all the way. 3rd job: be bodyguard to $4000 worth of COINS, including 1001 $0.05 coins. (of course there were loadsa notes too) 4th job: pack bags of goodies.

Basic guidline for RSMs: make sure all stuff is neat and on palettes. clear up mess. ensure u noe where ur men are at. hurry them. help them.

wah liao... it rox.haha. even though the packing was siao. chiong and chiong with 20kg loads. or was it 15kg? depends la.

anywayz, todae bought a 45+10 litre Deuter bag for OBS at Causeway Point. red. waterproof. can be small and poseur or big and bulky. gonna use it for all BB camps and even travelling. AQ maybe. juz use the zip as H20 bag tube entrance. guess where i bought it? Sports Connection.

went to foodcourt for lunch. saw the same shop selling the delicious fish and chips at Meridian. Also saw Qui Lian ban mian, which has minced meat, noodles and egg (grammar mistake intended), which is a wholesome meal for AQ members. LOL! bought the Fisherman's catch. the fish and chips realli darn nice, and the mussels oso! wah seh.

afternn went to Queensway. after much contemplation, i couldnt find a nice pair of shoes at Sports interlink so went to another shop. saw this damn nice pair of Asics shoes selling at $114. usual price $180. white base with black and blue patterns. BUY. damn nice. not gonna takan it until absolutely necessary. so betta hope my Star shoes and Nike can take OBS and AQ respectively. i HOPE.

school's starting soon. damn sianz. wah liao. nvm. next wk still got a boat ride. muz enjoy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

todae went for jog, u noe Cheeks' training plan. ya. so i went. started damn slow, maybe coz of thurs training, or nvr stretch, but my shin hurting. tot i wouldnt make 2km. den i reached my first 2.4km. 15min. wah seh. fail liao. but still continue. lungs not burning, muscles not aching, except my shin. so continue. i kept humming Bee Gee's How Deep is Your Love. dunno y, it was in sync wif my running pace. joggin, rather. anywayz. first 4click. 29min. wahaha. damn mother slow. but who cares. its a 40min run, not at 4click run. so continue. 40min liao! i at 6km mark. but somehow my body told me to continue, dat this run wasnt enuff. my lungs werent burning, muscles still not aching. even shin pain gone. in the end, i covered 8.5km in 53min, inclusive of a 5storey climb and a 50m steep upslope. if it wasnt dark, i'd have continued. How come i can now? nvr stop nvr walk. how come? izzit due to my team starting off damn fast? i cant tahan? izzit i can onli jog slowly at constant pace, den slowly increase? izzit the smoke and smell that was void at the track? was it the serenity? was it the cool breeze? the lack of ppl? i have no idea.

anywayz, looking at my hols. next wk got chalet wif relatives. next next wk is SGb and mebe hol wif family, final wk prepare for sch. and OBS. wat a beautiful way of sec 3 orientation. $250 for a shyt of a 5dae camp. gotta buy bigger bag to store the crap, gotta dig the mess tins outta dunno where, gotta get my ziplocs to waterproof my stuff, gotta burst moi bag and feel veh dumb. gotta do this gotta do that, gotta feel damn sian, gotta go thru it. wth, wtf, if this carries on i gotta kick the buck. LOL! (i was rapping thru this part... damn fun) anyway, bb opening parade is same dae as BB day. 12th. gotta bring full u. gosh... betta get my chevron done up. lanyard done liaoz. lol!

Company dinner @ 5:09 PM
woah... bad start to a gd dae... the train pulled out of the darkness and into a torrent of rain at bishan. how the heck am i supposed to get to sch liddat was the constant question on my mind. after meeting both zach and lamzy at the control station, we decided that lanning would be the best idea b4 going for company dinner. thus we went to meridian to lan. lanning was not bad la, the funniest being my fervent attempts, since friendly-fire was on, to shoot my team-mates till they had abt 9 health left and get him onto the battlefield, of which he'd be killed of course, leaving the frags to me... MUAHAHA. but since he could shoot me too, sometimes the opponent'd get a double kill.... bleah.

anywayz, after lanning, we still had plenty of time in our hands. went to Somerset mrt onli to find our ez link cards still with the lady. maybe this was a premonition of things to come, but we didnt care. got our cards and went to dhoby ghaut mrt. well, we visited the aasics clearance sale first. none of the shoes interested me. so went farrer park. kiat wee was wif us lar. at farrer park, met junda and changed. den went Qian Xi Lou. when we entered, all the primers inside planning liao. all of us stoned inside happily until zach suddenly asked me to call his fone. i obliged, onli to find it hung up. zach realised dat he left his fone at the LAN centre... as he and JD and lamzy rushed to the lan centre in a taxi, all i could do was pray, and pray. but as i did, i think God was trying to send a message to me, maybe to zach they all too. i suddenly tot of Bible Quiz. izzit another lesson that we have to learn? the hard way? the horrible truth to jolt us outta dreamland? i have no idea... but all i know is that wat my dad tot me had been useful. that is "Always check ur belongings b4 leaving a place". its a lesson for all of us to learn, albeit a hard one.

anyway, dinner was fun. i mean, it ROCKED. was laughing gas sprayed onto our table? We were laffing our arses off most of the time! joke here joke dere. wah liao. my abs hurt sia. juz eat den laugh, juz eat den laugh. wah kauz. food not bad la, but the "sense of occasion", and the dispensal of formality made this dinner veri heart-warming. things got a little outta hand at times (*wink*), but everyone's little effort of a little joke made the whole table the best, the funniest, the messiest, the most bonded (in my opinion) and simply DA BEST!

on the way home rocked too. rained. wth. i mean, after the rain, in the mrt. when Mariar(Shawn Tan), Mud(Zach) and Francois (moi) were left. joking all the way. wah liao... didnt know Shawn was so much of a joker. tot he was a quiet and reserved snr.

reached home at 11.20. phew! rox rite? now gotta do hw... basket...

Environment plays a big role in life @ 11:16 AM
ya, all of u'd probably know it, understand it, but hardly anyone knows how to tackle it. most of us juz let our environment shape our character, our being, our emotions, our life. thus the attitude of all of us. Some are humorous, some temperemental, some patient, some buaya, some bo chap and so on and so forth... This if a fact, however much people try to change it.

I realise that my mood is always affected by the environment i'm in. whenever i'm tired, stressed, or basically having spent a long time at the hectic CBD of Singapore, i do get short-tempered and kinda temperemental. but i realise that my temper has improved dramatically over the last few weeks. i feel relaxed, refreshed, not so fiery and not so bad, basically. aint shouted at a person during soccer for quite a while (yeah! juz wat i wanted), aint downcast, aint temperemental. i think its thanx to the Aussies and the NCO retreat. total relaxation, away from the daily routine we're always submerged in, where everything's about 1+1=2 and not 1+1=2 or 1+1=11 OR 1+1= window kinda life. looking back, i finally understand wat living life to the fullest means. it means try to look at something from different perspectives, live everyday differently and enjoy the social life u hv. that's wat i'm trying to do.

dat's wat i'll do. i wun let a daily routine, the tying down of the realities of the 21st century (like money, fame, power etc) tie me down. i wun let emotional mishaps (like sadness, anger, jealousy) destroy any day of my life. i'm gonna let the ultimate experience of life embrace me, fill me, and bring me thru the rest of my life. and by doing so, i pray to our Father in heaven that it'll be so, and i'll be able to live my life in harmony, with all the friends and brothers i have, in enjoyment in whatever i may do, and tide over all the obstacles misleading me. Amen

AQ...5km @ 9:35 PM
untrained for 2wks, totally shag and tired after NCO retreat, i emerged myself into my own doom... (actually no la, cocking onli....haha0

5km todae. for the 2nd time in AQ, i let my team down. last time was final hike b4 AQ, kena nauseous den slow down. this time oso. near the final bend b4 finishing line, i started to feel nauseous. stopped twice to vomit saliva. let team 2 overtake team 1. mother.... darn. den whole dae's AQ try biahing but no fuel. damn sianz. den soccer. somehow, my defense seems to create some sort of an aura. kaboom! save goal. kaboom! save goal. (but i still cannot la.... onli 1 defender. k kong manage to pass to chris from left to rite flank after my intense tackling i die liao.) but still damn gd. now the sec 3s and 1s noe my gorilla mode. MUAHAHA!

all soccer games in BB rox lor. no accusation, no insulting each other, juz a frenly game. makes the whole game darn fun and relaxed. BB again, to me rox. haha. xiang dang nian... (onli last yr la)

Titus, my PSL, persuaded me to join BB. (i nearly chose military band)
Longkuan inculcated me into BB (with his frenly "hi" and stuff)
Kean yung was my first BB sec 2 fren. (march camp and such)
and AQ totally made me luv BB, noe all my sec 2 brudders adn other batch brudders.

haiz... now next yr my batch taking over liaoz. Zach, Kean yung, geoff, deshawn, joel sec 1 NCOs. Leaves JD, Lamzy, I, and Kiat wee (basically AQ reserves and 3I classmates, except lamzy) for AQ job. gosh... haha. i'd imagine the sec 1s not knowing us dat well. bo bian lor. haha.

sianz... 5wks of hols gone.... so darn fast. y??? how??? die!!!! haha. OBS is the bleaking start to sec 3. wat orientation. my foot lor. i still have nightmares of sec 1 orientation. that first 3wks was HELL for me... realli HELL... onli reason y i stayed in RI was due to BB. haiz... juz hope AQ training does help, and so will BB experience in bonding and socializing. haha... (the haha sounds sarcastic to me) but nvm, tml got soccer, bridge and coy dinner!!! Who's yo daddy! haha

i have a dream @ 11:13 PM
i have a dream

a dream that i can discover my inner-self like i have over the past wk

a dream that i can yet again attain the spiritual healing i've received

a dream that i'll be able to revisit the paradise i've juz discovered

a dream that i'll be able to walk in tranquility, void of war, void of chaos, void of man-made noises, void of stress, void of pubs

a dream that i'll be able to relive my melbourne trip

a dream that i'll be able to be there again, experiencing the kind of spiritual warmth amidst the physically cool weather

a dream that i can again discover a social life, filled with happiness within interaction with people i nvr realli knew, with members of higher hierarchy as friends.

i have a dream...

Day 7 in Melbourne @ 10:22 PM
G'day mates! wat the toot! so fast... 1 wk has passed... b4 i can even experience enuff, i'm gonna embark on the plane back to hectic, humid, stressed up life in Singapore in 12hrs time. dammit... haiz... decided to try get the best of it all. morn went to queen vic's for the morn atmosphere. walked down the various shops selling various stuff. decided to get a Franck Muller lookalike watch for my dad. at 1 pt, saw a shop selling road signs tht u can paste to ur car. msgs like "No worries mate!" "dun follow me, i'm lost too" "sex instructor: first lesson free" and "i'm fat, u're ugly. but i can diet!" haha! i was tempted to buy everything there but i bought the "dun follow me" 1. den got a soft toy possum. veh soft and nice to touch! den i went to buy a carton on mangoes. shit... mebe i shdnt have. there was no cover for it so i spent the whole damn time trying to find a crate cover onli to have them put in plastic bags. wth... so much trouble. skipped lunch coz couldnt find anything to eat. mr soo kindly offered half his lunch for geoff and i to share. THANX! haha. on our way to the surprise stop (which was the melbourne museum), geoff and i started toking abt the bagpipe band. i juz dun wanna reveal the details of it coz it may not sound gd, but all i can say is that maybe Geoff will become a piper too! hope he does. (this is onli juz 1min of tok abt the 20min tok on the BBBB) anyway, the melbourne museum is kinda nice and out of the box presentation. saw the bones of a complete 18.6m blue whale stranded on some shore in aussie in 1990s. den 3d show on dinosaurs and aboriginal stuff. we missed the eel feeding session la... haha. den went to Richmond and the "chocolate factory". juz a video on how choc was made. bought some chocs lor. not bad. i'm eating a caramel choc now. haha. den we went to some factory outlet for adidas etc where there are supposedly sales. saw nothing of interest... shoes not nice and some were damn ex. couldnt find the poseur black model i wanted. so we spent our time going for lunch at a nearby cafe. geoffb bought a fried chicken sandwhich while i bought a ham sandwhich. DELICIOUS! it was damn big, even thought e bread was normal size. the seasoning rocked and it was fulfulling. yum yum! den walked back to the bus to go to Crown entertainment centre. casino and entertainment centre. Dalai, geoff and i went shopping by ourselves. i went to Sanity to buy dvd. saw american pie and bought it. i heard it was hilarious. onli after dalai's wide eyes and explanation did i realise i bought something with a lot of sexual stuff. but after watching it, which i juz did, i found out that it teaches us a lot on how relationships shd work, and how sex inter-relates to love in wat way girls want it to. yes, there were some intimate scenes, but i learnt a lot from this movie. a love education tok would take a damn long blog entry so i shall not bother.

anyway, went to experience the Yarra river quay again, after awing at the entertainment centre's this and thats. had a buffet (or smogasboard, in aussie terms, which i later found out) there. the chinese food sucked like dunno wat! but the western part was delicious! the ice cream was gd too. i had the ice cream, topped up wif choc fudge, den sprinkles, den nuts, den caramel fudge. yum yum yet again! my tummy's back... the way dalai mixed his ice cream, if he put it back at the display, ppl'd think it was cream of mushroom soup! anyway, went back to hotel enterprize. while ppl collected their luggage fr the concierge, i asked Wayne wat slip slop slap and smogasboard was. slip slop slap is a slang of the clothes and protection aussies get against the hot sun. and smogasboard u noe. bickies are short for biscuits. he then told of how aussies think australia sux till they go overseas. i agree. australia simply rox.

at the airport, bought nougats for $30. in queen vic it was $26, but i didnt see them. so bo bian lor. my flight seat was with Chris Zhao. geoff was quite behind. but this time, i was so tired i watched austin powers halfway and conked out. woken up at 3am by the stewardess for brekfast. den watched entrapment till the pilot switched it off for landing. the landing was not so smooth. cant blame the pilot. 777-300, a much bigger plane, sharing the same engine as the 777-200. gosh. haha.

now that i'm back in singapore, i'm still not used to the humid and hot climate coz i'm naturally damn hot. had damn lota sleep but miss aussie. their way of life, their climate, their ambience. i told mr soo, mrs ong and geoff when we went for the aussie city tour dat i want to go to aussie for my honeymoon, mebe even stay there when i retire. that's where i realli want to be. but Singapore's my homeland. i guess i'll juz buy a home there and whenever i want to, i'll juz go there. i wanna have my home at the Halls Gap motor inn and the wkends, go to stay at Le Meridian at Melbourne city. life there rox... singapore juz cant compare...

No worries, mates? nope... not for now... the ambience, the ppl, the city, the skyline, the tranquility, the emotions, the feeling...

he left a mark

Day 6 in Melbourne @ 9:57 PM
morn started with another hot bath. juz couldnt get outta there. the moment i got out of the hot shower, i was shivering intensively. brrr!!! started off our day with a trip to Scotch College. the college was HUGE! ppl there were friendly, esp Tim, our guide. he showed us around the 27hectare school! wow. there was the music auditorium building, the arts building, the language building. Longkuan'd love the music block. anyone can juz go to any of the rms and play the piano. somehow in aussie, life is juz abt as hectic, but ppl are so willing to go for various activities and be enthu! i think its the amt of emphasis parents and schools are placing on academics. although academics are impt, the aussies realise dat personal life and having an interest is wat's more impt in learning for life... i realli agree. enjoyed the college. had a old victorian taste but wif beautiful interiors surrounded with lush greenery. Singapore a garden city indeed... Den went for lunch at Shark Fin Restaurant. i didnt spell wrongly. they asked if i wanted " a pork". LOL! haha.the fd was nice and i caught Andrew's eating spree. ate 5 bowls of rice there. felt damn bloated later. we went for a tour at the Chinese Museum in Melbourne's Chinatown and experienced how the Chinese came to Melbourne and the discrimination faced. we also saw the biggest dragon dance dragon in the world there. it stretched for at least 80m! we den went for a city tour. i was running outta batt for cam so i tried to cut down. but i took great fotos. den batt conk out... at the Shrine, the memorial, the heart of melbourne where the best scenery of Melbourne can be seen!!! dammit! was down, but i juz tried to make the best outta it and juz enjoy the grand scenery there. the shrine was beautifully crafted in stone dat looked like marble and the exterior was juz so grand. pity ppl cant hold their marriages there. it'd juz be so inappropriate. anywayz, returned to hotel enterprize for a break b4 going to Holiday inn for dinner. service wasnt so gd, but cant blame em. someone on the other table spun the lazy susan so hard the tea juz poured over. created a great hoo-ha. then, one of my table mates tried asking for chopsticks change coz it smelled like bleach by asking the manager "change chopsticks" x3 (translated fr chinese) gosh... wat an embarrassment. den we went for a city walk from holiday inn to queen vic market. i shall now link our PM's tok yesterday with my experiences in Melbourne.

he toked abt greater architecture being able to create a better ambience in melbourne. i tell u its wrong. its the people and the feelings that matter. compare melbourne to singapore. every damned place in singapore has the boom boom chak and the smoking and the beer. in clarke quay, where u can enjoy a peaceful nite down the quay, u get motherFing pubs down the whole damn quay. in melbourne however, at the Yarra River Quay, ppl noe how to be quiet and enjoy the whole scenery of melbourne. there's no smoking, no music, juz peace. Melbourne knows which place to be quiet and which place not to. the walk down melbourne streets was so peaceful, so spiritually uplifting, so serene. when mrs. ong broke out into carols, it was so much of an enjoyment, like the real meaning of Christmas was already present. then when we reached Myers, the shopping mall, there were crowds enjoying the window shows, not wif noise, but wif appropriate clappings and signals of appreciation. then another peaceful walk b4 we reached the partying at Queen Victoria market. that was where ppl started partying. i can never experience that in Singapore. the climate aint rite, the ppl aint rite, the ambience aint rite even tho the architecture is quite similiar. PM Lee, if u're reading this, i think Singaporeans realli need to have a great mindset change. I wouldnt recommend Singaporeans to go to Melbourne. Y? Coz i'm damn afraid they'd turn havoc outta Yarra river quay and totally spoil melbourne like they have spoilt Singapore's night scenes. pubs and clubbing on every damn place in singapore, even sentosa. now casinoes. wat next?

anyway, at Queen Vic market, my grp had the pleasure of tasting emu, croc and kangaroo meat. it was a unanimous decision that kangaroo meat tasted the best. like beef but more tender and fragrant! yum yum! we took another peaceful walk back to Hotel Enterprize and that nite, i felt realli revitalized, realli refreshed. some feeling i've never felt b4.

Australia is simply paradise.

Day 5 in Melbourne @ 9:21 PM
todae was viewed with sadness. for various reasons. they shall be slowly unveiled. i'll miss the countryside. to wake up in a city without the mountainside scenery and to step up to a multi-storey building instead of ground-floor inn doesnt sound pleasing to me... especially after hearing fr Mr. Soo that inns are betta den hotels in Aussie and Brian's tour to the Hotel enterprize webbie... dammit... nvm. today's trip to melbourne took 4hrs!!! coz we had to go to Braccus' marsh to visit an apple orchard, which is near Ballarat. damn sian. slept den woke up nothing to do. so in the end, geoff, yixuan and i shared sick jokes we've heard. Subra juz listened. i'll share 1 dat yixuan told us.

There was this mother, father and ah-boy who went to a nudist beach. the ah-boy saw a man wif a damn long manhood. so he asked his mother,"why does that man have such a long manhood?" the mother, hating man with long manhoods, said,"coz they are dumb."

den, the boy saw a woman wif big boobs. he asked his mum,"why does that woman have such big ones?" the mum, jealous of the woman, said,"coz she's stupid." later, he saw his dad toking to a woman and told his mum, "mum, dad's toking to a stupid woman and he's getting dumber and dumber!!!"

anyway, we reached the orchard and stayed for onli 30min for a short tok... WTH. i expected a tour around the orchard or picking apples. but nvm. Winnie's putting a lot of effort liao. another 2hrs ride to melbourne. first impresssion was not bad. melbourne looks damn cool! The Vodafone stadium's HUGE. i mean, HUGE. anywayz, drove past the new being built admin building for melbourne, looked to the left and saw Grand hotel (which realli is grand), and to the left... hotel enterprize. 3 star. looked ok... so unloaded my luggage and went in. lobby ok... courtyard ok. i took a deep breath, wished geoff gd luck and opened the door. wah mother toot! the aircon!!! the miniature beds! the confined space! the look damn old washroom! ARGH!!!!! sianz! shit! i miss Halls Gap!!! geoff and i nearly broke down... after dat i was real downcast. lunch was not bad, chinese fd... dalai (aaron) cracked jokes wif me... den Geoff and I being BB got suaned and sniggered at by the motherfucking rugger and the bastardy motherfucking judo ass. i was damn pissed. if not for the enjoyment of others for this trip and the fact that i'm trying to learn controlling my temper, i'd have down something drastic. i mean DRASTIC.

anyway, learnt that Wayne taking a break dis afternn coz he cant drive more den dunno how many hrs a wk. Harrison guy taking over. didnt feel gd for me either. but harrison turned out to be quite ok la. it was raining dammit. raining for the first time on my trip... totally depicts a downcast dae doesnt it? whole afternn travelled to some beach damn far away to have a lesson wif world-reknowed palentologists who have had a dinosaur named after dem. cool eh? den headed for San Remo for chinese dinner b4 heading down to Philip Island. long drive inside. learnt dere dat i cant take fotos during the parade. not even without flash. haiz... but the penguins were CUTE! the way they walked and such.... i even started copying them in their walking fashion. haha. saw one upclose on the boardwalk when it looked up at me. the pearly black innocent eyes and a slow gurgling purr... so mesmerizing!!! later, bought some souvenirs and took some fotos at the main exhibition centre. the ride back to melbourne was 2hrs so Harrison showed us the movie "u've got mail". veh nice show abt relationships! the climax was broken when the bus reached hotel enterprize. oh, did i mention that melbourne nite scene rox? beautiful blue neon lights sillhuoetting the city skyline... wah... it was veh cold dat nite so i emersed myself in hot water for a bath. felt juz too gd. den, geoff and i watched the Nelson Mendela 46664 concert while eating popcorn bought from the penguin parade. ok, i'm starting to get used to this room...

Day 4 in Warnambool (part 2) @ 9:01 PM
ok...ya...where was i? oh ok. after 12 apostles, made our way to the blowhole cave and London Bridge. got stories for both. both oso 1 man 1 woman. both oso in the end no happy ending. haiz... ok. Blowhole cave: this ah beng and ah lian took some ship with some spas captain. the captain dunno how to drive then langah the cave. everyone die. onli both left. the ah-beng swam to shore and got help to help the woman. End.

London Bridge: on the year i was born, london bridge used to be 2 arcs connected to mainland Aussie. this day, a man and woman walked to the outermost arc. den the first arc collapsed. they stranded there. became big news. the helicopter rescued them in the end. For tourist attraction, they named it London Bridge. (if u still dunno y its called london bridge, i doubt u had a childlife, or ur parents forced u to listen to Linken Park at 3yrs old)

breathtaking. Got veh gd fotos there. but it was damn rush. i tell u, Aussie is a damn gd place for AQ. the atmosphere is gd, there are natural and gd places for training and above all, u get a relaxed scenery to ensure gd recovery. dat nite, we went to another motor inn under the same group of inns as Halls Gap motor inn. rox oso! although no jacuzzi and double bed... monday so supermart not open. went to macs. i bought some upsized Caramel sundae for $2 Aussie. Geoff bought drinks and fries and we shared. brought them to play cards wif sick yixuan (i mean the er-hem sick), brian and aleric. Den tok crap again. wahaha!

Day 4 in Warnambool (part 1) @ 11:13 PM
Woke up in a freezing temperature. shivering all the way. when i toked, could see steam coming outta my mouth! so i wore trousers, but still short sleeved tees. Ppl looked at me open-mouthed. haha. i generate lotsa heat, so i feel extra hot in singapore. dammit. Hectic and rushed day todae. we made our way to Tower Hill in the morn, abt a 2hr ride, after a sumptuous brekfast of bacon, eggs, baked beans... a typical American brekfast. Sumptuous! Tower Hill is an extinct volcano, quite young too. it used to be an explosive volcano when Aussie moved away from Antarctica, moving over the hot spot where New Zealand stands todae. Thus, the land around it is very rich and supports a variety of flora and fauna and farms are aplenty near the hill. It was named after that distinct metal tower standing on its peak. we were divided into groups to tour any walk we wanted. My grp chose the lava boardwalk. it strayed into the remote areas of Tower Hill, allowing us to get a very gd picture of the various sceneries of Tower Hill. @ 1 pt, andrew decided to stray from the path onto a remote path and we all followed. it led uphill to some weird place. seeing nothing, we decided to take the designated path back and managed to join back the tour in time. we then headed to a chinese restaurant called Dragon's Inn for lunch. Having had a bad experience from the first lunch in Victoria, we were dubious and wary. However, this Dragon's inn was very different. it had a fusion of modern and contemporary design, having red and black as main colours. Food was gd too. The gu lou yok, back pepper sotong etc was very fulfilling and pleasing to the tastes. Very gd fd b4 our ride to the Great Ocean Road. on the way at a village, Wayne cracked a joke: why cant the ppl at this town (cant remember the name) be buried at their own cemetary?
Coz they're still alive!

First stop: 12 apostles. once we got off the bus, the chilly wind caught us immediately. However, it wasnt so bad as we got near the cliff. the scenery was... WOAH! the apostle nearest to us was at least 15storeys tall. Aaron and i started snapping away happily. i took a darn lot of them. Couldnt stop myself. the surrounding choppy ocean which made a misty grand scene. a lot of us were admiring the waves, which are unlike those in Singapore. those waves there tower 3-4m at medium tide, which is much higher den our high-tide! our breaths were taken away by the natural scenery of Victoria... (t.b.c. I feel damn tired. still am though had lotsa sleep after getting off the plane)

Day 3 in Grampians @ 10:23 PM
Did i mention that in Victoria, everywhere u go seems to be fitted wif aircon? in the morning, certain mornings, u can be freezing ur ass off. i aint toking abt this morning la. but it was relatively windy and cool. my cam outta batt, so charged up last nite and took fotos of our residence. beautiful morning i tell u. imagine waking up to a beautiful mountainious scenery and fresh, cool air on a quiet morning, onli hearing birds chirping and a morning breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. Paradise! brekfast was at the student lodge, where we had cereal, milo and toast, b4 taking a few parting shots and leaving for a 2hr journey to the Geriwald Grampians. we had a few winks on the bus b4 arriving at Halls Gap Motor Inn to deposit our luggages. We then headed for the tourist centre to watch a video on the Grampians. Aboriginal legend has it that there was once a head aborigine who created the whole world and wanted animals and humans to live in peace. He finished everything and onli had the Grampians left. He left the task to 2 brothers. ( i cant remember the names) There was this enormous emu, a violent one, staying at the Grampians. It left an egg one day, and a crow, very hungry, tried to eat it. The emu was very angry and chased the crow all the way. the emu's stamps etc created valleys, waterfalls of the now Grampians. Still, it's revenge quest was unsuccessful. the crow managed to tell the 2 brothers and they killed the emu. they plucked the feathers of the emu into 2 small stacks, splitting the feathers' ends into 2, creating the now emus. of course, this could not be true. the Grampians is a fold mountain. We went up the Grampians to the peak. Maginificant view! the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We had packed burgers and a drink there for lunch. The whole of Halls Gap and the lakes could be seen from there. it felt absolutely marvellous! we then headed for the lake b4 heading for McKenzie falls. a 1.26km hike saw us looking to a grand, scenic waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. it was sooo relaxing! Mr Soo said "if onli we can hold all our lessons outdoors like this". I agree. We'd definately learn much more den having academic lessons in class. If geog lessons consisted of this, i'd definately take it. I'd prob even top the class! This way of learning is aboslutely marvellous. we learn much more in a much more practical way. class lessons and notes are simply too shitty. its like taking photographs and seeing the real thing. the real thing is so grand and so beautiful, but when u take it, u can onli portray a part of the image in a very downsized form in much less colours. Its simply too different. I sat at a rock and enjoyed the constant cooling spray of the water b4 heading fot the waterfall lookouts. wasnt so impressive since i'd oredy seen the best of the best. but still veh gd anyway. this day was veh hot and dry coz we did some physical activity, so we went to the mini shop there to buy a lemonade popsicle b4 heading back down to the inn. when we checked in the inn, i found a jacuzzi there! the inn was marvellous! it had the grampians for the backdrop too. wah seh! i soaked myself in the jacuzzi for quite a long time. that nite for dinner, i had lamb chop, which was deliciously grilled, although i didnt like the apricot filling. Australian food seems to have a distinct smell that is present even in cup noodles, which geoff and i had that nite. haha. i felt so gd at the inn and combined with the nice simple aussie rock music, added with a touch of techno, prob Kylie Mynogue's, i started dancing when i went to the toilet. juz couldnt help it. i danced throughout the whole trip, at times. haha! We went for kangaroo sight-seeing but they were quite far away. We onli managed to get ourselves acquainted to "land-mines", planted by the kangaroos the nite b4. Guess wat? haha. Our room had a double and a single bed. i took the double. haha. geoff and i crapped a whole lot that nite and onli slept at 2.30. That was after watching a french movie (let me remind u of Australian "censorhip"), eating cup noodles, and more crapping.

Day 2 in Ballarat @ 9:07 PM
Reached melbourne airport at 9am. everyone like juz taken 10 sleeping pills liddat. groggily got outside the airport. Saw Wayne, our coach captain, and our coach. Let's say dat first impression DOES NOT always count. Wayne struck me as a very solemn, grumpy ole driver and his coach was an old dunno wat bus. but once he started toking, he was very easy going and friendly. veh corny. oh yah. his fav phrase "No worries mate!" haha. Gd ole Wayne. travelled 200km to Ballarat, a town in Victoria, where mining for gold was very popular in the 19th Century, so much so even ppl from China came down, explaining lotsa Chinese living in Victoria. Went to Golden Crown rest for lunch. ya noe how it feels to have extra salty chicken, fish that tastes like rubber and glasses wif flies inside them? OMG, dat's how it was. IT SUCKED. at that pt, all of us fervently wished that other meals would not be liddat. luckily it wasnt. anyway, we went up to Sovereign Hill, the heart of Ballarat and activities of gold mining in the 19th C. Now its a tourist attraction la. Went for a gold mining tour to experience the life in the olden days. Even tried mining for gold. Geoff and i picked a lot of gold! in small little negligable specks... the souvenir shop had personal messages crafted into coins for $15, so i bought 1 for my grandma for her bdae. haha. We then went to a supermart to buy anything we wanted lor. Geoff and i bought a drink each. $2 for lemonade. The groceries in Aussie are damn ex. That night, we slept at bunks of 8 at wat used to be a Military Barrack when the gold miners went on civilian war with the English police. Bunked wif geoff and all the 5 sec 1s. that nite, we had a veh sumptious dinner! the beef was really delicious, topped wif baked potatoes and suitable garnish. We then went for a show called "Blood of the Southern Cross", which was a live sight and sound show using the whole of Sovereign Hill to relive the civilian war in the 19th C. I finally noe why Fort Siloso nearly had to be closed down... can u compare a small little exhibition centre compared to this great amusement park? I'm not toking abt the size here, but the innovation of Sovereign Hill in educating the public on its history! After that 1hr show (which was complimentary, thanx to Winnie persuading her company to throw it in) using trams to transport us around Sovereign Hill for different scenes of the war, i learnt a lot about the war! Singapore really cant sha ji qu luan, or it can NEVER compete with Australia in this aspect. I conked out quite easily that nite, other den Yixuan going into a hysterical laughter every once in a while for dunno wat reason... haha.

Day 1 in SQ 237 @ 8:55 PM
I mean... not Victoria la. In Singapore on the way to Victoria. Geoff and i acted spas. b4 plane took-off, we were holding each other's hands like it was d-day. lolz! Den YiXuan and Brian started toking damn loudly. wah lau... Watched love actually on the plane. there were erotic scenes censored from singapore! gosh... "4wks from Christmas" den a guy humping a girl, filming for a show... gosh. the airline fd was not bad. had fish in some tomato gravy with baked potatoes and cold pasta for side dish. could hardly sleep. i'm a noob for SIA, thus, didnt noe all the functions of the seats to make it comfy. >.< when i did for 30min, i woke up to see my ameneties pack on my seat tray gone. Found out that Geoff took it and vomitted into it. apparantly, he didnt see the plastic bag meant for his function on the stowaway in front of him... gosh. I muz commend SIA for its excellence in making a flight to gd. thousands of movies, specialized radio stations wif soothing music, ninendo games, a smooth and gd airplane that ensures turbulances are fun and landings are smooth. Cool!
