since the meeting for ORA was like... no one turn up except jd, i, sam, hao yang, deshawn, i shall nt tok abt it.
LET'S TOK BAGPIPE
REVOULTION!scenario: i needa de-stress. i wanna pipe. therefor, jd, lk and i go to the BB rm to pipe. juz trying to touch up on our founders' day playing. so we played highland cathedral. Cheeks came in to get his AQ shoes. looked at us. somehow, we had the same notion. y do we want bagpipe to be juz regurgitation? such nice songs! therefore, cheeks comes over to jd's side, takes over the drums and the bass drums for a lil while. and WE GO CRAZY! somehow, we have the same notion of wat we shd do for choreography side, and we choreograph a veh nice drum beat to HIGHLAND CATHEDRAL! at first, the bass drum will beat 8 times, den, a solo pipe will play. after the first half of the tune, the snare will come in slowly, jazz style. once the tune is finished for the first time, JD will continue the "bom bom bom pak!' while the rest ROLL into the tune for the 2nd time. the whole band, all the pipes, will then start playing with more jist! den the 3rd time, the drummers will bring the song into ultimate climax b4 ending at the first verse, slowly one by one the pipes will stop playing, until 1 pipe and the bass left. then end.
WOOT! we even did one for itchy fingers! we went MAD. ROCK, JAZZ, and our pure raw emotions injected into these tunes! this is wat scottish ppl like oso. playing with FEELINGS! yeah! we lurved it and juz simply couldnt stop until all of us juz ran out of breath... it was damn fun!!!
we're now toking abt setting up a band. we need a little cymbal kinda thing on the bass, longkuan and i will pipe, junda and cheeks will drum, terrence will provide synthesizer background and jaryl will provide violin to comlement e bagpipe! we wanna come out with this revolutionary CD dat will rock e world! ooh yeah!
den cheeks took his guitar and we starting playin songs like "miracles", "hey jude" etc etc where i turned the first aid kit into my drumming kit and we all sang and sang! i even sound recorded. rox manz! we aint gonna care abt wat hold the drumstick properly. with basic background, we're gonna play to our emotions and let the music FLOW!!!
when we went for bubble tea, we heard some sec 2 boys humming Highland cathedral! they apparently heard it when we were playing and din noe we were the ones who played it. oh yeah! ppl are liking bagpipe tunes now! see how good being radical and REVOLUTIONARY is! OOH YEAH!!!
