well on request (erhem my tagboard xD) and upon some reflections i've decided to blog today... there's so many things i wanna talk about but new tots keep coming in and i cant reali remember wat i wanna say... oh yea my french 75. 1 GPA 3.6 confirmed. aiming for a few 4s like SS and Bio. =) i'm taking PMEH and a good decision too. Phy Math will gimme the entrance to the uni courses i'm prob taking: engineering or business. without chem or bio i cant take bio and chem engineering, sciences, medicine and sth else. none i'm interested. econs will help too. and history. my <3. why? i'm not very... strong in history, but its interesting, and mrs neoh over these 2 days, thru bio-terror, has taught me very impt lessons.
she told us "guys, there's a reason why geog lit and history are called humanities subjects. because it deals with humanity. when we deal with history, its not onli abt facts, its about lessons learnt. look at wat the nazis did. do we wanna repeat it again? do u think with onli sciences u can be a respectable scientist? no. scientists without ethics, like we have seen, makes no contribution nor progress to society. here in history, lit or geog, we teach u lifeskills. humanity. they may seem invalubale for making big bucks, and yea i tell u if u wanna make big bucks, history isnt the thing. but that's not the point. the point is we educate you, not teach you." -13h sept.
today, after she told us about sth that happened in RJC, she told us "hey guys, the point about education here is that we gotta learn to pick up from mistakes. c'mon we all fail. i dun expect you guys to do perfectly for every assignment. we fail. but more importantly, we get up, learn, and MOVE ON. no matter wat happens, life goes on. and u're not alone. if u feel stressed out, cant take it anymore, juz grab anyone u can and talk to him/her! dun keep stuff to urself... dictators nvr always make correct decisions, a panel of advisors and ministers helping does. don't worry, nvr give up. get help"
mr. soo. mrs neoh. mr wong. my 4 yrs history teachers. all i can grp under those who are knowledgable, interesting, and those who have strong characters. good hearts. i respect you teachers man. hormat kahadapan hormat!
i juz read e newspaper. some student who couldnt afford to pay sch fees stole, and got 7yrs in jail and 24strokes of the cane. he deserves the punishment yes, but does he realli deserve 24strokes and 7yrs? he's a freshman c'mon. he had no money to pay, and the reasons behind may be so complicated, can't there be some leeway or sth? 7yrs is gonna destroy his future. 24strokes a scar for life, physically and mentally. i dun agree with this man.
my 19inch monitor and comp speakers both died on me... now using 15inch acer and my iPod earphones. sigh... gotta get new monitor and earphones. and comex juz ended. geeez....
today was kinda in a sucky mood... so many late nites and all the work piling up, and hormonal inbalance again i guess... ohwell... ><
